Chief Judge Brian House Hosts Third Bailiff Training Seminar for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit
On Friday, July 24, Chief Judge Brian House welcomed bailiffs from the LMJC to Catoosa County for a Bailiff Training Seminar. The seminar brought together bailiffs from all four counties for a day dedicated to highlighting the systems that keep our courtrooms running safely and smoothly.
Judge House led the training himself discussing courtroom responsibilities from the basics of security, managing juries throughout a trial, while mixing in some trivia and fun giveaways. Topics included proper interactions with jurors, gathering exhibits and verdict forms, safely escorting jurors to and from deliberations and other courtroom conduct.
This seminar reflects Judge House’s commitment to investing in the people who make the day-to-day work of the courts possible.
The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit is grateful to every bailiff across the circuit for the dedication and professionalism they bring to the courtroom every day. Thank you for your service, and for the vital role you play throughout our circuit.
